Hotel Policies & Rules

Dear guests, we are so glad to welcoming you to Cameron Lavender Mansion by PLAY!

Please read with the following rules and regulations which are obligatory for all our guests. We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the hotel, without refund or compensation, for failure to comply with any of these rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behaviors, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.

The Management of Cameron Lavender Mansion would greatly appreciate your co-operation in abiding the following, as we value each of our guest’s safety and enjoyment.

DEPARTURE. Check-out time is before 12 PM (noon). An additional surcharge applies for early check-in and late check-out requests, subject to availability.

NON-SMOKING. Cameron Lavender Mansion enforces a no smoking policy in all guest rooms and enclosed public areas. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. A cleaning fee of RM500 will be imposed upon when there be smoking activity detected in guestrooms.

COOKING, COOKING APPLIANCES, COMBUSTIBLES, OR FIREWORKS. The safety of our guests, staff, and this facility is extremely important to us. Preparation of food in guest rooms by any type of cooking appliances is prohibited. A minimum fee of MYR500.00 will be charged for cooking in a room.

MOVING HOTEL ITEMS/ CAUSE DAMAGED. moving hotel’s items to other places in the hotel is prohibited. Violator is subject to a fine of up to MYR500. Guests shall be liable for any damage or loss of any equipment or furniture in the rooms up to the cost of repair or replacement (may refer damaged list).

VALUABLES. The hotel shall not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. We recommend using the provided safety deposit boxes or securing your valuables appropriately.

TOURISM TAX. A tourism tax of RM10 per room per night (cash only) is applied to all non-Malaysians. Guests with a valid Malaysian IC or valid Permanent Residents PR card are exempted from this tax.

SUSTAINABILITY FEE. A sustainability fee of RM3 per room per night (cash only) is applied to all guests effective 1st January 2022 based on the provisions under the Hotel Regulations (Pahang) 2021.

NO PARTIES AND QUIET HOURS. Hotel enforces a No In-Room Party Policy to ensure we can always protect the hotel and our guests. No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on these premises. Quiet hours 10pm-8am. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without refund.

NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. In the event of suspected illegal activity like gambling or other behavior that is against public morals, management reserves the right to summon law enforcement to aid in eviction. The right to privacy ends when a Hotel Policy / House Rule is broken. Law enforcement will be granted immediate access to hotel property and rooms of evicted guests.

NO DURIAN, MANGOSTEEN, JACKFRUIT. Durian/Mangosteen/Jackfruit are strictly not allowed in the hotel/hotel room.

NO PETS. Pets are strictly not allowed in the hotel.

CHANGES & MODIFICATION TO THE HOTEL POLICY / HOUSE RULES: Cameron Lavender Mansion reserves the right to amend and modify the Hotel Policies / House Rules at any time without prior notice.

Refund Policy

1. Reservation Confirmation: Once you make a reservation with Cameron Lavender Mansion, it is considered a confirmed booking. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this no refund policy.
2. Non-Refundable Bookings: All bookings made through our website are non-refundable. This means that once the reservation is made and the payment is processed, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to changes in travel plans, cancellations, or early departures.
3. Modification Policy: In case you need to modify your reservation, we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. However, any modifications made to the booking, such as changes in dates, room type, or duration of stay, may be subject to additional charges. These charges will be communicated to you at the time of the modification.
4. Force Majeure: Cameron Lavender Mansion shall not be held responsible for any failure to provide accommodation or any other services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, labor disputes, or any other event that disrupts normal hotel operations. In such cases, no refunds or compensation will be provided.
5. No-Show Policy: In the event of a no-show (failure to check-in on the reserved date without prior notice), no refunds will be given.
6. Incidentals and Damages: Guests are responsible for any additional charges incurred during their stay, such as room service, or damages to the hotel property. These charges will be billed to the guest’s credit card on file. Any damages caused by the guest will be assessed and charged accordingly.
7. Discretionary Refunds: While our policy states that no refunds will be issued, reserves the right to make exceptions or provide discretionary refunds in exceptional cases, solely at our discretion.
